What is UL Approval?

A product that has the approval of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has met all of UL's safety requirements.  This type of approval is commonly seen on thermal transfer labels for computer equipment, furnaces and heaters, fuses, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, sprinkler systems, bullet resistant glass, and thousands of other products.
